Pineapple Creme Brulee
Our Pineapple Creme Brulee is the perfect way to turn 6 mins worth of work into a restaurant quality Creme Brulee with a hint of pineapple flavor.
Makes 8 servings
You will need:
1 ½ cup Heavy Cream
1/2 cup Half and Half
Directions (stove top):
Combine cream and half &half in a saucepan. Whisk in 1 packet of Creme Brulee Mix. Stiring constantly, bring to a low simmering boil for 1-2 mins. Mixture will be thin. Remove from heat and pour into 4 ramekins. refrigerate for at least one hour. Caramelize as directed.
Combine cream and half &half in a microwave safe . Whisk in 1 packet of Creme Brulee Mix. Cook, covered, on high for 3 mins. stir and cook for another 2-3 mins. Mixture will be thin. Pour into 4 ramekins. refrigerate for at least one hour. Caramelize as directed.
Directions for Caramelizing:
Just before serving, using 1 sugar packet, sprinkle an even layer onto the surface of each dessert.
hold the torch flame 2-3 inches over the top and slowly glide it back and forth over the surface until the sugar turns a deep dark brown.
